Just Listening was a nationwide
project held in 2006 involving 33 Labour Members of Parliament, led by
Tessa Jowell, the then Secretary of State for Culture, Media and
Sport.
Just Listening was a consultation
process where MPs invited local residents to discuss four
main issues about the way in which the Government engages
with people.
- What single thing would most improve your
quality of life and your community's quality of life by 2010, and is this the Government's job?
- What does fairness mean to you and how could Britain become a fairer society?
- What can we all do to make politics more
honest, more relevant, and more effective?
- What does Britishness mean to you, and what can we do to make it more of a reality to unify society?
Sadiq is took part by organising a series of
consultations in the constituency.
